Site of the day - 5th April

Hi,

First of all a friendly warning! Today's site isn't for everybody and definitely requires a sense of humour - it's the official website of Weird Al Yankovic - see http://www.weirdal.com/.

I've known of Weird Al's work for many years, he's a song parody specialist. Here are some of his songs:
Amish Paradise - Based on the popular "Living in this Gangster's paradise" song
Eat it - A parody of Michael Jackson's "Beat it" song

You're Pitiful - A parody of you're beautiful by James Blunt, see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgfpJWUYgbg

Bought it on eBay - A parody of "I want it that way" by the Backstreet boys
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKtlK7sn0JQ

The list goes on. To get to like Weird Al, the main requirement is that you don't take things too seriously, Weird Al is for half an hour of fun, here and there.

Why not visit http://www.weirdal.com/ today and post a comment about what you think.

My site for today is http://www.Feedburner.com

Feedburner is a web feed management provider which first launched in 2004. On August 15th 2008, Google completed migration of Feedburner into its group of services.

FeedBurner provides custom RSS (Really simple syndication) feeds and management tools to bloggers, podcasters, and other web-based content publishers.

Services provided to publishers include traffic analysis and an optional advertising system.

Today, two-thirds of FeedBurner's feeds include income generating advertisements.

Users can find out how many people have subscribed to their feeds and with what service/program they subscribed with.

Published feeds are modified in several ways, including automatic links to Digg and del.icio.us, and "splicing" information from multiple feeds.

Visit Feedburner.com today and see what you think, I believe it's a must for all bloggers.

Site of the day - 31st March

Hi,

The site of the day is
http://www.monobrow.com

This is a wonderfully weird and zany site that i've visited on and off over the last few years and is well worth a visit.

The Monobrow Mission Statement:
"At Monobrow.com, we don't view having one eyebrow as a grotesque, freakish human deformity. On the contrary. We think you are special (and not the kind of special where you wear a helmet.) The kind of special where people look at the hairy, catipillar-like growth above your eyes and say, "Oh my God! What the hell is that thing?" You're not alone. Monobrow.com, celebrating the unity of your eyebrows."

It's a relatively simple site featuring:
> Mono Bro of the week
> Mono movies
> Mono match
> Mono links
> Mono match

An example Monobrow

Visit the site and let me know what you think.

Pointless - yes, but fun as well. I visit this site when i'm having a dull day and I just want to visit a site that's a bit mad.

An introduction to Bestpay's Site of the Day

Hi, Welcome all to my brand new blog, Bestpay's Site of the Day!

Every day I intend to visit this blog and update it with a Website that I think is a real winner and well worth a visit. I'll try and post daily but if I miss a day i'll post 2 entries the next day to catch up.

I've wanted to create a Site of the Day post for ages so here goes. The weird and wonderful sites available on the Internet brought to you. Some Websites will be serious, others will be strange and whacky but all will be well worth a visit.

I'm just going to create my first post now, so please be patient and i'll return with my very first site of the day.
